History of Bartley

Bartley Independent BMW Specialists was founded in 1997 by Dermot Dromey, who wanted to provide a personal, effective and affordable option for the repair and maintenance of BMWs. Seeking to avoid the stigma sometimes attached to dealerships at which he had previously worked, Dermot, supported by the Bartley team, believes that value for money is just as important as providing a premium service, to both new and existing clients.

Shortly after Bartley began trading, approval as a full member of the Retail Motor Industry Federation (RMIF) was gained. Since that time, Bartley has expanded greatly, particularly over the past ten years, and now benefits from an experienced, busy team. In August 2008, Bartley became one of the founder members of the Motor Industry Code of Practice for Service and Repair.

Looking after a BMW can be a complex business, but we are able to work on any model of BMW and BMW Mini. We have two fully equipped workshops, featuring all of the latest diagnostic tools. This allows our technicians to work with over 30,000 components that the average BMW consists of. The BMW qualified senior technicians each have over 20 years experience working with all models and ages of BMWs, both at dealerships and independently. The Bartley team have a very impressive list of qualifications and have achieved almost countless BMW approved technical training certificates. Bartley Independent BMW Specialists are pleased to cater for all BMW owners. We currently maintain BMW car fleets owned by large companies, vehicles owned by numerous businesses based in Hampshire, local families and retired couples, along with a number of prestigious local clients.

All parts fitted by Bartley benefit from a full 12 month warranty.
